East Bay pets of the week for Dec. 29

I’m Corvidae, a smart and mysterious 2-year-old female feline who’ll soar into your home and nest comfortably! Playtime is where I shine, with feather toys, laser pointers and puzzles as my favorite companions. We can be playmates in the day, snuggle buddies by night! All adult animal adoptions fees are waived until the end of the year! Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Bunny is a 4-year-old Siberian Husky who combines elegance and smarts. With her distinctive coat and well-defined features, she embodies style and sophistication.

While she exudes a mature aura, there’s a playful side to her — that classic Husky mix of intelligence and charm. Looking for a canine companion with personality? Bunny’s your match. Her adoption fee is waived as part of our Cozy Home for the Holidays adoption promotion on select large dogs through Dec. 31. Meet her at East Bay SPCA’s Dublin Adoption Center, with walk-in adoptions at the Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on EBSPCA programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Reba McEntire is an arrestingly beautiful dog (those sapphire eyes!) who is going to make the most amazing family member for whoever is lucky enough to adopt her. She’s friendly, easygoing, well socialized, playful, engaging and likely fine with other dogs. The 1-year-old Husky mix can pull a little on the leash when walking but it’s not bad for a Husky. To meet this pet at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

Meet Cookie, the charming 6-month-old calico kitten! With her stunning looks and sweet demeanor, Cookie is a social butterfly who gets along well with other cats. She loves snuggling with her favorite humans and is known for capturing hearts with her loving gaze. Contact Lori at Whisker2love@gmail.com. Community Concern for Cats now holds weekend adoption events at Pet Food Express stores in Walnut Creek and Martinez along with our regular location at 1250-H Newell Ave. in Walnut Creek. Visit communityconcernforcats.org for more information.

Roofus is an adorable wired-haired Jack Russell mix who is friendly, fun and people-oriented. He is looking for short walks, a lap to warm and a person to love and play with. He’s house-trained, dog friendly and would do well with a fur-sister or brother. Contact the staff at Milo Point Richmond for assistance from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Tuesdays at 220 S. Garrard Blvd. in Richmond. Our dedicated staff is on duty every day caring for our animals and have saved more than 39,000 lives in 28 years. For more details, visit milofoundation.org/contact-us.

Meet Darla and Betty. These girls are the best part of a happy family. Four months old, they are funny, loving and quite knowledgeable about playing with toys. Their mom is also looking for a home. Only a year old when she had her babies, she’s ready for a home with no responsibilities other than filling that spot in a sunny window or on your lap. For more information about these or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
