East Bay pets of the week for March 28

Hi, we’re Ariel and Cinderella, a bonded pair of sweet and magical girls ready to start our next adventure! We might be a little unsure at first, but once the shoe fits, we’re all about fun — chasing toys, exploring our castle, and being delightfully silly. We’d love a calm yet engaging home (no toddlers, please) where we can shine together. If you’re ready for double the charm and twice the love, we can’t wait to meet you. Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (Berkeley Humane) at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Meet Zelda, the legend! This playful, energetic 10-month-old is social and silly, adores toys, fetching, running in the yard on her own or with a mate and plopping down by your side for some R&R. This Doberman mix picks up skills quickly for anyone interested in training and will be a great adventure buddy for anyone who loves the outdoors or hiking. To meet her in-person, stop by our Dublin adoption center or reach out to customercare@eastbayspca.org. The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For more details online, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions online.

Handsome 4-year-old Tupac is doing well in a foster home as he continues his training on becoming a very good boy. Here are a few Tupac highlights: He adores all people; is good with other dogs; wriggles with happiness and excitement; knows “sit,” “down,” “shake/paw” and “touch;” and his favorite things are walkies, frozen Kongs and belly rubs. To meet Tupac at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS), call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt online.

Meet Cleo! This sweet 1½-year-old gray calico is gentle, affectionate and once cared for six kittens rescued from a storm drain. Now safe and happy, Cleo enjoys lounging in high places and adores Churu treats. Whether as a solo companion or with other cats, Cleo would be a wonderful addition to your home. Those interested can contact Suzi at 925-708-6967. Community Concern for Cats (CC4C) now holds weekend adoption events at Pet Food Express stores in Walnut Creek and Martinez along with our regular location at 1250-H Newell Ave. in Walnut Creek. Visit communityconcernforcats.org online for more information.
