Hello! I’m Biscuit, a soft-hearted tabby ready to bring cozy companionship into your life. Like a warm bakery on a chilly morning, I start out a bit shy, but with patience my gentle charm will shine. I’m looking for a peaceful home with experienced people who appreciate the art of a quiet friendship. Young kids might be too much for me, but if you’re calm and understanding, I’d love to be your sweet little friend. Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Starlight’s one blue eye and one brown eye give her a magical air. This golden, 1-year-old Shepherd mix is the life of the party. With her boundless energy and love for playtime, she can turn any gathering into a fun-filled adventure. Starlight thrives in the company of other dogs, forming quick bonds and enjoying every moment of play. While she adores adults and fellow pups, Starlight prefers to keep her distance from children. She appreciates a calm environment where she can relax and soak up the attention of her favorite people. If you’re looking for a spirited companion who knows how to have a good time, Starlight is the perfect fit! Meet her at our Dublin adoption center. The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

Hudson is a curious, snuggly, vivacious, affectionate wannabe lapdog. He’s super expressive, will melt your heart with his tender looks and make you laugh with this surprised head tilts! The 1 1/2-year-old gets along great with other dogs and he’s excellent in a home situation — housetrained, not destructive. Hudson’s doing well in a foster home now and would love a forever home, though it shouldn’t have small pets or children because of his enthusiasm. To meet this pet at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

Meet Goldie, a hidden gem with a heart of gold! Rescued from a rough area, Goldie was once a left-behind pet who blossomed into the sweetest companion. This calm, loving 2-year-old adores snuggles, cozy naps and being the center of your world. Ready to be her one and only? Goldie’s love is waiting just for you! To adopt Goldie, contact Carol at ‭(925) 872-3963. Community Concern for Cats now holds weekend adoption events at Pet Food Express stores in Walnut Creek and Martinez along with our regular location at 1250-H Newell Ave. in Walnut Creek. Visit communityconcernforcats.org for more information.

Cheerio is looking for love and a home with a yard and another dog to be her guide. She’s learning to walk on leash and enjoy playtime outside. This little doodle girl is ripe for all the loving you can give her. All she needs now is YOU! Contact the staff at Milo Point Richmond for assistance from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Tuesdays at 220 S. Garrard Blvd. in Richmond. Our dedicated staff is on duty every day caring for our animals and have saved more than 50,000 lives over 30 years. For more details, visit milofoundation.org/contact-us.

This is Alice. She is a lively, happy 5-month-old kitten. We think she’s trying to learn how to cook because her foster said she’s always under his feet when he’s in the kitchen. Alice gets along with the other cats in the home and ignores the dog. When people visit she’s always the first one on a lap and nibbling finger tips. For more information about Alice or any Contra Costa SPCA adoptable pets please call Pat at 925-323-0667.
