Well, hello there, we’re Baobab and Manchego! What’s better than one feline beauty? Two bonded friends! We’re besties and want to be adopted together. We’re very sweet and a bit shy, ready to find our new favorite sunny spots to lounge in. We love exploring cool cat toys and snuggling up for furry love. A mellow home would be perfect for us! Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Beautiful, curious Bella will quickly steal your heart. This 2-year-old girl loves to zoom and play, is extremely gentle and affectionate, and loves to encounter new smells, sights and friends. (Her satellite ears are always moving!)
While she doesn’t like to be rushed, Bella is devoted to those who stick around and get to know her. This sweet soul has been in our care for more than four months and we’d love to find her a peaceful home where she can relax and be herself. The East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. For updated and real-time information on programs and offerings, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.— East Bay SPCA
During his brief time as a stray, Firework had a really rough time: He starved, lost an eye and caught feline calicivirus (FCV), a highly contagious upper-respiratory infection that rots teeth. After being rescued by a kind citizen, Firework was hospitalized and had to have the rest of his teeth pulled. But this stalwart 1-year-old has recovered beautifully and is thriving in a foster home. He’s a happy guy, loves to play and is cuddly too! To meet this pet at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

This wonderful boy’s owner had to move to a care facility and Coco needs someone new to share his love and kindness with. Coco is crate trained, housebroken, he’s good on a leash and good with kids. He has been around other dogs and cats, but we think Coco would be best as the only dog so he can be treated like the sweet prince he is. For more information about this or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
