EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A howling Halloween extravaganza will take over Animal Services' Westside Adoption Center on Saturday, complete with a spooky carnival and pet costume contest.
The City of El Paso Animal Services and Friends of El Paso Animal Services will host the second annual Wag-O-Ween Pet Carnival at the Westside Adoption Center from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
There will be plenty of activities for pets and their humans alike, including jumping balloons, carnival games, a photo booth, music, food trucks and local vendors, as well as a pet costume contest which kicks off at 4 p.m.
Guests can also adopt cats and dogs free of charge, as part of theBISSELL Pets Empty the Shelters national adoption event.
Meanwhile, from 2 to 5 p.m., those who have fur babies can get discounted vaccines and low-cost microchips.
