AMBALA: An elderly woman was admitted to the hospital in Ambala after being bitten by her neighbor’s pet dog.
According to the police, the woman was on her way to feed a cow when the dog attacked her. In response to the situation, the woman’s son lodged a formal complaint against the dog’s owner, alleging that the owner had negligently left the dog outside.
The police have registered a case against the dog’s owner, invoking various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including Section 289, which pertains to negligent conduct concerning animals.
