Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League’s Pets of the Week: Meet Brindie and Gomez!

Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for their forever homes at the Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League!

Dog of the week: Brindie

Meet Brindie!

Brindie is an 11-month-old mastiff-staffie cross with a sweet and loving nature – he’s also a bit of a goofball.

Brindie loves to loll around inside the house and enjoys cuddles.

A couple of times a day he gets the zoomies, rushes outside, runs around, and jumps on the trampoline.

He loves to play football and enjoys squeaky toys.

Brindie would likely do well in a home with older children.

He’s a bit of a clown and one of his favourite tricks is to fall off the couch on purpose.

Brindie came to Animal Welfare League Eurobodalla from the local council pound and he appears to have had a rough time in his young life.

He’s a sensitive boy and is fearful of loud noises.

Despite his rough start this loving boy has so much to offer a loving person or family.

He is keen to please, walks well on a lead, sleeps in his own bed and sits and waits for meals and treats.

Brindie plays well and is respectful of other dogs. He has shown empathy with a sick dog in the household by laying down next to her and putting his paw on hers.

Brindie has been fine with the chickens he’s met but he is not suitable for living with cats.

Brindie’s ideal home will be one where he can have gentle introductions to new people and experiences – could that be with you?

Suave, charming and just a little bit of a doofus, Gomez would love to be your beloved companion. Photo: Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League.

Cat of the week: Gomez

Meet Gomez!

If a feline best friend is what you’re looking for, look no further.

This adorable 12-week-old black and white domestic shorthair kitten has a charming moustache and a personality that’s larger than life.

Gomez is the total package: fun-loving, affectionate, and downright hilarious.

His story is one of courage and survival. Gomez was found in the middle of the road at night, not moving, and fighting for his life.

Against all odds, he pulled through and has transformed into a happy, healthy, and playful little boy who’s now ready for his forever home.

Gomez is the perfect companion for snuggles, playtime, and everything in between.

He adores cuddling up in bed and will make you laugh with his cheeky antics.

He gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs, making him a great addition to any household.

He’s also a pro at mingling with his foster kitten buddies and makes them all feel so welcomed.

If you’re looking for a funny, sweet and affectionate forever friend, Gomez is waiting for you!

Previously featured dog Brutus is having a meet and greet with a potential new family, while cat Lester is still looking for his forever home.

Both Brindie and Gomez are desexed, microchipped and up-to-date with their vaccinations.

To arrange a meet-up with any of AWL Eurobodalla’s animals for adoption give them a call on 0410 016 612, or use the form on the AWL website.
