FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – Officials with Fairfield County announced Tuesday they were no longer accepting dogs, as they are currently at full capacity.
Feline intake has not changed, so the shelter is still open to cats.
They said Animal Control Officers are still available after hours for cases of aggressive dogs or strays in the road.
Intake days are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the shelter is closed on weekends.
When bringing in a pet, officials say you must present a valid I.D.
