KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A home is considered a total loss after a broke out along the 3100 block of Falcon Drive, according to the Sissonville Fire Department.
Firefighters said they got the call around 5:30 Saturday morning
They said several animals were able to escape the home before firefighters arrived, however one pet was trapped and died as a result.
Firefighters said no one was home at the time of the fire, and there are no other injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
