The Puerto Rican company Fetch, focused on pet care in San Juan, opened its doors at the Sagrado Corazón Urban Train station to offer grooming, daycare and hotel services.
Following an initial investment of $350,000, Fetch has a staff of 10 employees, including certified groomers and experienced pet care professionals.
With a 2,600-square-foot interior and a 2,000-square-foot outdoor park, Fetch aims to provide a welcoming and safe environment for pets and their owners.
According to a press release, the project was brought to fruition by the vision of four Puerto Rican entrepreneurs committed “to providing moments of play, specialized care and an exceptional experience with every visit.
In addition, Fetch hopes to host pet-friendly events at the train station plaza.
Likewise, Karla Santa, operations manager of Fetch, affirmed that they have created an alliance with Rabito Kontento, a non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates and adopts animals, in order to act as foster parents for homeless dogs.
“This goes beyond beautifying them; it involves giving them love in our daycare, strengthening the connection and significantly increasing their chances of finding a loving and joyful home,” Santa said in a written statement.
