Since 1963, this local non-profit has provided a temporary safe haven for cats and dogs in need of a good home.

Pets Fur People, located in Tyler, is a non-kill shelter that currently houses over 100 hopeful canines and a cuddly group of kitties that are ready to meet their new families.

To ensure that each cat and dog are going to a proper household, Pets Fur People requires all that are interested to go through a meaningful application process.

There are always volunteer opportunities back at the sanctuary. Help with feeding, walking, and socializing with the animals here to prepare them for their new household.
