ROCKVALE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A family is thanking a couple of Rutherford County firefighters after they rescuing their dog who was stuck in a wheel.
Rutherford County Fire Rescue said a crew responded to a Rockvale home for a dog that was stuck in a wheel. Upon arrival, the crew found a small dog with his head stuck inside of a car wheel.
They were able to use tools to remove the family’s pet from the wheel, while the family was able to help keep the dog calm.
The dog was removed from the wheel without injury.
“The homeowner appreciated the crew’s patience and skillful removal of the dog from the dangerous situation,” RCFR said.
