DULUTH, Minn.
— Under mysterious conditions, residents along Duluth’s Hunters Park neighborhood woke up Thursday morning to dozens and dozens of dead fish along Tischer Creek.
According to the Duluth News Tribune, about 250 brook trout, minnows, crayfish, and aquatic bugs were dead.
The DNR and Minnesota’s Pollution Control Agency crews have taken samples of the aquatic creatures and water to be taken back to a lab in St.
Paul.
In the meantime, residents and pets were asked to avoid the creek until more is known.
