Did you know February 20 is national “Love Your Pet Day“? While most owners love their on their pets every single day of the year, this special holiday gives us an excuse to show them off!

I love animals more than I love most people, (sorry, not sorry), so when I hear there are lovable and adorable pets waiting for over 100 days to find a home of their own, my heart absolutely breaks.

‘Lonely Hearts Club' Dog Adoption Event

Hundreds of animals find their way to Winnebago County Animal Services every year, and most of them find new homes pretty quickly. Others sadly wait there for months to fin a new family to love…and that makes me want to cry.

These 11 dogs have been waiting at Winnebago County Animal Services for over 100 days. They are adorable, loveable pups who are lonely and scared and have been overlooked for far too long.  I'm hoping their bad luck streak ends today…with your help.
