Friend of the Week: Gentle Cookie Butter loves being pet, brushed

At Friends for Life Animal Rescue, animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Cats are also tested for FELV/FIV.

Cookie Butter is a domestic medium-haired female, spayed Torti shell cat, about 7 years old.

She arrived at Friends for Life Animal Rescue through no fault of her own. Cookie Butter was with another cat and was terribly shy. She is a gentle girl hoping for a soft place to land. Volunteers at the shelter are still learning about her but so far, she enjoys being pet and brushed.

Cookie Butter would do best in a quiet home with a predictable routine. Her adoption fee is $125. At Friends for Life Animal Rescue, animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Cats are also tested for FELV/FIV.

Friends for Life Animal Rescue is located at 952 W. Melody Ave. in Gilbert. To find out more about Cookie Butter or other cats and dogs looking for homes, visit azfriends.org or call 480-497-8296.
