Maples Park was haunted by disguised pets Sunday afternoon.The fourth annual Halloweenie Walk happened at the park in Crestwood.The walk featured costumed pets and treat stations for both the dogs and their owners. It also included contests, raffles and other activities, all benefiting Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue. “All the proceeds from the raffle go back to our rescue to help companion animals in need,” said Alicia Sarantis with the rescue. “That’s truly our mission is to rehab and rehome animals within our community that need our help.”There was no cost to attend, but attendees were encouraged to donate money, pet food and toys to support the cause.
