Hattiesburg pet clinic offers neuter surgeries for cats

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WHLT) – This February, the Southern Pines Healthy Pet Clinic in partnership with Bissell Pet Foundation will offer $25 neuter surgeries for owned male cats in Hattiesburg and surrounding areas.

The surgeries will be offered between February 12-29. There are no residency requirements for this neuter event.

“Providing affordable spay and neuter to our community is a core pillar of our mission here at the Healthy Pet Clinic,” said Ginny Sims, Executive Director of the Southern Pines Organization. “It is a vital service for our community in the fight to end pet homelessness and overpopulation here in Southern Mississippi. We are just so thankful to Bissell Pet Foundation for helping both pets and the people who love them by making it possible to reduce surgery costs for our clients even further, making the benefits of spay and neuter even more accessible to our community.”

All cats must arrive in appropriate pet carriers, and pet owners are required to provide proof of an up-to-date rabies vaccine at the time of surgery. If the cat requiring surgery is in need of a rabies shot, the vaccine will be made available to the pet owner for an additional $15.

For more information or to book an appointment, contact Southern Pines Healthy Pet Clinic at 601.544.5678.
