(WSYR-TV) — Make some room for Maeve, the adoptable pet of the week! Maeve is a shepherd-terrier mix just under a year old. She has been at Helping Hounds Dog Rescue since she was picked up as a stray nine weeks ago. Maeve is a happy, smart girl; she likes playing with other dogs and gets along well with children 12 and older! She has been working hard with the Happy Hounds training and behavior specialist, Chivon Winter.
Friday Morning, Winter joined us on Bridge Street and brought Maeve along. Winter spoke about services and recourses available for parents adopting for the first time, so if you are not prepared, Helping Hounds Dog Rescue will help you get prepared.
Visit HelpingHoundsDogRescue.org for more information on the adoption process as well as volunteer and donation opportunities.
