It's not much ado about stuffing, some holiday foods can make dogs and cats sick.
USA, — The holidays are here and that means food. No matter the festivities, it's the time of year to break out the feasts. For some people who have dogs or cats, it can seem innocuous to slip a pet a little snack, but there are some foods that can make certain animals ill.
According to the Idaho Humane Society and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, even some of the foods people think are safe to give to dogs and cats may not be.
Apples without seeds and core
Turkey with no bones or fat
Ham, due to high salt, fat and preservatives
Mashed potatoes due to added fats and creams
Turkey/ Chicken without bones or skin
