Shonen Jump unveils the first official teaser trailer for Magilumiere Co., a workplace satire that pokes fun at the popular magical girl genre.
Komugi, the dog-turned-human protagonist of Wonderful PreCure, is voiced by Maria Naganawa. Naganawa is best known for her roles as Kanna Kamui in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid and Platelet in Cells at Work!. Her owner in the anime, Iroha, is voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki, who also plays the titular role in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End as well as Kaina Tsutsumi/Lady Nagant in My Hero Academia. However, Tanezaki’s most famous current role is as Anya Forger from Spy x Family.
Wonderful PreCure isn’t the only animal-themed show airing in the Winter 2024 anime season. Fluffy Paradise, also known as I’ll Try My Best So I Can Pet and Pat in Another World, is an anime adaptation of the light novel series of the same name by Himawari. The cutesy anime show follows a 27-year-old office lady, Midori Akitsu, who is reborn as a young girl named Nefeltima “Néma” Osphe after overworking herself to death. Now living in the world of Asdyllon, Néma’s dream of spending her days caring for fluffy animals has finally come true. The comfy premise of Fluffy Paradise is an entertaining subversion of the typical isekai fare.
