The Inland Valley Humane Society will conduct neighborhood canvassing for dog licenses in Chino Hills beginning Tuesday, May 20. Every dog over the age of four months must be vaccinated against rabies and have a current license, according to state law.
Humane Society employees will be driving their personal vehicles and will carry a badge. The uniform consists of black pants, a black polo shirt with the Humane Society logo, and a black hat with logo. The annual cost for a dog license in Chino Hills is $30 if the dog is spayed or neutered.
The cost is $100 for an unaltered dog. License fees are $10 for senior citizens 65 and older, active military members and veterans whose dogs are spayed or neutered. Owners who have not renewed their annual license fee or who have unlicensed dogs are subject to a penalty equivalent to the license fee. To pay or renew by phone, call (909) 623-9777 or visit ivhsspca.org and select “licensing” on the homepage.
