A Halloween costume contest for man’s best friend brought fangs and fun to the streets of Burlington Saturday afternoon.Church Street was packed with people and their pets for Burlington’s annual Howl’ween costume contest. There were several categories, including silliest costume, most original, best pup and owner, and best in show.Emilia Chittenden and her pug, Frisbee, entered the competition for the second year in a row.”I got this costume a few years ago, and then we saw this and thought, this is perfect! Church Street was packed with people and their pets for Burlington’s annual Howl’ween costume contest. There were several categories, including silliest costume, most original, best pup and owner, and best in show.
Emilia Chittenden and her pug, Frisbee, entered the competition for the second year in a row.
“I got this costume a few years ago, and then we saw this and thought, this is perfect! We’re here for fun, but if we win, that’d be cool too,” Chittenden said.
