The woman, whose name is Joyce, took to social media to share a before and after look at her dog – and many are convinced she picked up someone else’s pet.
Not only this, but as a result of the almost unrecognisable trim, people urged Joyce to ‘sue’ the groomers.
Posting online, Joyce shared a snap of Maui Wowie, her Goldendoodle, prior to his transformation.
His pre-haircut appearance showed the adorable canine looking cuddly and extremely fluffy.
But moments later, Joyce, who got her dog three years ago, back in 2021, wrote: “I asked the groomer for a trim…This is what I got…”
She then shared Maui’s post-groom appearance, as she cried: “Haircut gone wrong.”
The pooch had been clipped all over, showing off his once concealed slim frame.
The Goldendoodle, who was just a puppy at the time of his trim, was unrecognisable, with his fluffy fur nowhere in sight.
Clearly very upset by Maui’s new look, Joyce attached the viral ‘Oh No’ TikTok audio, alongside crying emojis.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @mauimydood, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 126,900 views.
Social media users were stunned at Maui’s haircut and many were convinced Joyce had collected the wrong pooch, which many took to the comments to express.
One user claimed: “You got a whole new dog.”

Not only this, but people were horrified at the cut, hoped Joyce didn’t pay and told her to ‘sue’.
One person said: “I hope you didn’t pay.”
Another added: “Dog has changed breed.”
Meanwhile, a third commented: “I would sue.”
