Pet dog brutally assaulted by owner in Thodupuzha; case filed after witnesses confirm alcohol influence.
Thodupuzha, Kerala – A pet dog was subjected to a brutal attack by its owner, Shaiju Thomas, in Thodupuzha. The dog was severely attacked and sustained hack injuries all over body. It was left abandoned on the road.
Following the horrific incident, Thodupuzha police have registered a case against Thomas for the assault. Eyewitnesses reported that the man appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the attack which took place on Monday. The assault is believed to have occurred in a fit of rage after the dog failed to respond to the owner's call.
