DOGS love the outdoors and few things get their tails wagging more than drive to the countryside.
But not everyone has the ideal car to make it a comfortable trip for your pampered pooch.

Animal-loving motorists have lots to consider when choosing the right car, be it boot size, praticality and value for money.
Should it be a Rover for Rover or a Fiat for Fido?
But now help is at hand after comparison site Leasing.com put together a list of the five best cars for dog owners.
The website analysed data from over 100,000 consumers to find the best new cars on the market.

And the practicalities of getting the right car to suit your pooch are also more important than you might think.
The Highway Code states that dogs need to be suitably secured so they avoid distracting the driver, as well as preventing injury in case of a sudden stop.
If not, motorists could be liable for a hefty £5,000 motoring fine.
Dave Timmis, Founder and CEO at Leasing.com, says that choosing the right vehicle for your beloved pet can be a daunting task.
He said: “Between 2021 and 2022 three quarters of the 13 million dog owners in the UK drove with their pets at least once a week, so it becomes an important factor when choosing a car.
“It’s why manufacturers like Jaguar Land Rover and Skoda have become quite imaginative and created dedicated ‘Pet Packages’ to meet their customers’ needs, and these are proving increasingly popular.
“The wealth of new car offers on Leasing.com means dog owners can choose from every body type and fuel type available in the market to ensure they find their dream canine car.”
