Although the robot can deliver drinks, traditional restaurant meals such as soups remain the responsibility of the human servers. According to the owner, personal service is essential in restaurants of Szálka’s quality. The aim is not to have guests fetch their own plates; rather, the robot complements the human touch without replacing it, adding vibrancy to the dining experience.
The robot waiter’s greatest strength is clearly the way it interacts with guests. Children adore it—often even giving it a name—and eagerly follow its every move.
