This sweet girl weighs 44.60 pounds and she is looking for the family to show the same unconditional love she is hoping to give them! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption. Her fee is waived AND her adopter will receive two free training sessions with Highland Canine Training.

Grizzle has done great for all his exams while here and he doesn’t really know his size, as this is one wiggly boy! Please come and meet him in person for more information. He did meet another dog while here and seemed to do well, play bowing and zooming all the way! Of course, we always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption.

To become a volunteer, a foster or both, visit co.iredell.nc.us/149/animal-services-control, to submit applications. All applications are subject to approval.
Not ready to adopt? Fostering is a great way to get the animals out of the shelter for a reprieve and a great opportunity to get them in front of potential adopters they wouldn’t see while being in the shelter. Fosters are true lifesavers in providing the tender loving care that the cats and kittens so desperately need for the animals’ best possible outcome. Learn about the foster opportunities we have available. Go to our website at http://www.co.iredell.nc.us/149/Animal-Services-Control for a foster application.
The shelter doesn’t want the fosters to have to provide for the basic care items needed to care for the animals. To donate, the shelter’s address is 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville.
Meet Rambo (A295425) a charming and lovable 2-year-old, 65 lb. bully breed that arrived at the shelter as a stray. With his adorably large ears and friendly smile, Rambo is sure to capture your heart from the moment you meet him. It’s like Rambo thinks his job is to make you smile, and he takes this ever so seriously! He loves water and loves to try to bite the water as it comes out of the hose. This playful and cheese loving boy is waiting on his family to find him. Please come and meet him in person to learn more about him! We always recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption. His fee is waived.
As for size of dry kitten food, 3.15- or 6.3-pound bags are easiest for fosters to handle.
