CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – Pet Helpers, an adoption center and spay/neuter clinic, is collaborating with the Town of James Island to host the clinic on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the James Island Town Hall at 1122 Dills Bluff Road.

“We know that veterinary costs can be high, and that‘s why we’re so pleased to offer this low-cost option,” says Pet Helpers Executive Director Melissa Susko. “Keeping pets up-to-date on their vaccines is essential for their health and protects our community. Pet Helpers is committed to providing resources that empower pet parents to take charge of their pets’ health, and we’re proud to be a partner in ensuring that every pet can receive the care they need.”
The clinic will offer essential vaccines for dogs and cats at the following rates:
- $15 for the Rabies vaccine
- $15 for the Distemper vaccine
- $25 for the Combo Package, which includes Rabies & Distemper vaccines
To ensure the safety and well-being of attendees, dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers. Aggressive animals will not be accommodated at the clinic.
