Jamshedpur, Jan 6: In a heartwarming display of love for her pet, a woman from Kadma, Jamshedpur, celebrated the 4th birthday of her dog, Rose, in an extraordinary manner. The celebration, attended by around 300 guests, was marked by grand arrangements typically reserved for human birthdays.
The dog’s owner, Sapna Sona, who treats Rose like a daughter, spared no effort in organizing the event. Guests were welcomed to a grand pandal that was specially decorated for the occasion. As Rose entered, she was greeted with drums and trumpets, while the guests cheered in excitement. The ceremony included a traditional aarti and a cake-cutting event, where Sapna herself fed cake to Rose, making for an emotional and joyful moment.
“It was an emotional moment, and we treat Rose as part of our family. Just like a mother loves her daughter, my bond with Rose is equally strong. Animals are more loyal than humans, and I respect her loyalty,” Sapna said.

The celebration wasn’t just about Rose. Sapna, who is also a social worker, used the occasion to give back to the community. She installed solar lights at Parvati Ghat and surrounding areas in Bistupur, contributing to the well-being of the local residents. In addition, she distributed food to the people living in an ashram, reinforcing her dedication to social causes.
Guests at the party were thrilled by the uniqueness of the celebration. One attendee remarked, “This is the first time we’ve attended a birthday party for an animal, and we treat her like a daughter.” The event was not just a birthday celebration but a meaningful reminder of how deep and special the bond between humans and animals can be.
Sapna also appealed to the public to recognize the loyalty of animals. “People who don’t love animals should try to do so genuinely. These speechless creatures show immense loyalty, and it’s something we can all learn from,” she urged.
The celebration of Dog Rose’s birthday was a moving reminder of the unconditional love pets bring into our lives and the special relationships we share with them.
