WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Kansas Humane Society’s Director of Communications Jordan Bani-Younes brought in Torque Lewith, a dog, to KSN’s Pet Project Thursday afternoon. He weighs 62 pounds and is about 1 year old.
Bani-Younes says Torque Lewith is the sweetest boy in the world.
“He loves to just cuddle and get pets,” said Bani-Younes.
Bani-Younes says he is actually his favorite.
“I really, really love him. I went out with him in the play yard, and he just flopped at my feet and got some belly rubs in,” said Bani-Younes. “He’s just very, very sweet and a really, really great boy.”

There are plenty of volunteer opportunities at the KHS.
“Volunteering includes socializing with our animals, taking dogs on a walk, doing dishes, doing laundry, helping out in our clinic,” said Bani-Younes. “Our clinic volunteers are incredible. They help with the flow of surgery.”
Without volunteers, Bani-Younes says the KHS gets backed up with tasks.
“We really need volunteers to help us in our mission to help care for our animals,” said Bani-Younes.
