Kay NewsCow | NOKHS’ Pet of the Week is Koop

PONCA CITY — Northern Oklahoma Humane Society’s pet of the week is Koop, a young dog full of life and energy.

Koop is a 2-year-old 66 pound hound dog who is currently in a foster home. He has been at the shelter since January.

Handlers say he is embodiment of sweetness, always ready to greet with a friendly tail wag. Koop is intelligent, quickly learning new tricks, especially if there’s a treat involved. His playful and goofy nature makes him the life of any gathering. He loves a good game of fetch and enjoys a quiet cuddle session, making him the perfect balance of energetic and calm. Koop’s smart, friendly, and cuddly nature, coupled with his playful energy, makes him a wonderful companion.

For more information on Koop call NOKHS at 580-767-8877 or email adopt@nokhs.com, or click the link below to visit Koop’s profile.
