A Kenyan lady who goes by Valerie Cherop on TikTok has left netizens baffled after a video showed her preparing a whole chicken, not for a family feast, but for her cats.

The video captured her meticulous process of massaging chicken with oil, skewering it, and baking it to perfection.
“Happy Mother's Day. Today being Mother's Day, I decided Cashmere pia lazima and aenjoy siku,” Valerie started, narrating how she prepared the chicken.

Once golden brown, she carefully deboned the chicken, shredded it, and presented it to her cats.
Her three elder cats were treated to individual servings, while five kittens huddled around a single plate enjoying the feast.
“They really enjoyed it,” Valerie said at the end of the clip.

In the video, she started by washing a big tilapia and later removed the fins before dissecting it into five parts.
She boiled the parts until they were super soft and removed bones to avoid hurting her two cats.
Valerie also boiled courgettes and cubed carrots and later fried them with the mashed fish before serving them to her pets.
