Kilkenny Dog Shelter seeking urgent homes for dogs as kennels are full

Kilkenny Dog Shelter has made an appeal to anyone looking for a new pet as they are full on space and have no room to house new dogs.

They have provided a list of dogs with images attached if anyone would like to consider a new pet.

From their Facebook post:

“WE ARE NOW FULL, WE HAVE NO KENNELS LEFT
Today Heidi the little Terrier was lucky enough to find a home ❤️ however, poor Seamie who was adopted on Monday has been brought back, he was too nervous and Toddy rehomed last Saturday was also brought back, a great little dog but new owner felt he wasn’t able for a new dog
We have so many dogs here now for months with no interest at all, yes some have issues but with time, patience and tlc they will be fantastic additions to a home prepared to work with them. We now have no kennel space for the strays we know will arrive in the coming week and space needs to be made available for them, our rehoming has slowed down so much yet the dogs keep coming, please if you can offer one of our dogs a home please contact us on 0599726785 to discuss further
Please see below some of our longest residence who need to find a home soon or if any of the wonderful rescues who work with us can help us out we would be most grateful
Deano black lurcher cross pup if growing up in kennels here 15 weeks
Shadow the Staffie now here nearly 3 months
Mimi beautiful Terrier cross now here over 9 weeks
Seamie the Collie now here 2 months
Benny the hound is completely shut down, we have appealed for help with him but sadly no offers
Also still looking for homes
 Ally the Lurcher
 Cloe the Lurcher cross
 Kellie the Kelpie
 Toddy the Terrier
 Badger another nervous Collie
PLEASE help us to help them, consider adopting.”
