DONE CRIMINALLY. WEATHER WISE, IT’S 716 AND DELRAY BEACH IS LOOKING FABULOUS RIGHT NOW. PLENTY OF SUNSHINE. A COUPLE PEOPLE OUT THERE, HOT SAND AND VERY CALM WITH ATLANTIC WATERS. ONLY ABOUT 1 TO 2FT. SO, SO FAR, SO GOOD TODAY. THIS AFTERNOON THINGS DETERIORATE A BIT, AS IS TYPICALLY THE CASE HERE. DURING THE WET SEASON, WE HAVE A MARGINAL RISK OR THE LOWEST LEVEL OF THE SPECTRUM RISK FOR SOME ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS, MAINLY FOCUSED INLAND WELL WEST OF THE TURNPIKE, MAYBE TOWARD THE LAKE LATER THIS AFTERNOON. I DO NOT EXPECT THINGS ON THE MAGNITUDE OF WHAT WE SAW YESTERDAY WITH THOSE SEVERE STORMS, BUT, YOU KNOW, TIME WILL TELL THE MODELS. I’LL SHOW YOU HERE IN A MINUTE. MEANWHILE, CURRENT TEMPERATURES 70 IN OKEECHOBEE, 73 IN VERO, 74 IN HOBE SOUND AND 75 IN PALM CITY. WE’VE GOT 78 OUT AT THE AIRPORT IN WEST PALM. BUT A BUSY PLACE LATELY FOR SURE. THIS WEEKEND, 80 IN DELRAY AND ALREADY UP TO 82 IN SOUTH COUNTY. WE’RE GOING TO HOLD THE LINE WITH THAT FOR A LITTLE BIT, BUT THEN BE IN THE UPPER 80S TO LOW 90S, CERTAINLY BY 2:00. IT LOOKS LIKE THE STORM POTENTIAL IS AT ABOUT 30 TO 40%. STARTING AT ABOUT AFTER THREE 330 THIS AFTERNOON. SO FUTURE TRACK REALLY ISN’T SHOWING TOO MUCH EXCEPT INLAND AND AROUND THE LAKE. AROUND THE TURNPIKE WILL SEE SOME STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS. AND THEN IT LOOKS LIKE OVERNIGHT TONIGHT IT’S WELL WEST OF MOST OF OUR AREA. SO WE’RE GOING TO SEE THIS SORT OF WET SEASON PATTERN REALLY HOLD THE LINE THROUGH THE HOLIDAY TOMORROW FOR ALL THE CEREMONIES EARLY OR ANY COMMEMORATIONS. YOU’RE FINE. IT’S GOING TO BE VERY HOT. MAKE SURE YOU STAY HYDRATED. HIGHS SKEWING ABOVE THAT AVERAGE OF 87 MORE ALONG THE LINES OF 90 TO 92 ALL WEEK LONG. FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. TUESDAY 30% CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS WEDNESDAY. GREATEST CHANCES OF STORMS ACTUALLY HAPPENING ON FRIDAY AS WE GET READY TO START THE NEW MONTH. BUT THEN INTO SATURDAY. JUST A SLIGHT CHANCE AS WELL. BUT YOU KNOW, HEAT HAS BEEN THE RULE FOR THE MONTH OF MAY. THREE QUARTERS OF THE MONTH HAVE BEEN ABOVE AVERAGE, AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE START OF JUNE IS GOING TO BE THE SAME. SO BEACH AND BOATING, AFTERNOON STORM POTENTIAL SOUTHEAST WINDS AT TEN KNOTS, 1 TO 2FT. WITH THE SEAS STILL A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS A
