Kerrville Pets Alive! is giving back in the most meaningful way possible, a spokesperson for the organization said. The local nonprofit is sponsoring all adoption fees for dogs adopted during the cat and dog Pawliday Adoption Event on Saturday, Dec. 7.
“KPA! also covers half of the adoption fees for pets adopted from Kerr County Animal Services,” the spokesperson said in a press release.
The Pawliday Adoption Event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 2102 Memorial Blvd.
Adoptable animals will include cats and dogs rescued locally who are ready to find their forever homes, the spokesperson said.
“These sweet pups and kitties have been through a lot, and this is their only chance at life,” the spokesperson said. “With the holidays fast approaching, we need to clear the shelter so they can enjoy a warm, loving home.”
KPA! is an all-volunteer, nonprofit animal welfare charity serving Kerr County. Their mission is to save Kerr County pets from euthanasia by providing support and resources to Kerr County Animal Services and Kerr County pet owners in need.
