Say hello to Kyla! This Staffordshire Terrier mix is five years young, and loves “showing off her smarts,” according to shelter volunteers at Second Chance Animal Rescue. She’s of medium size, with a milk-chocolate brown coat (and a “cream filling” on her belly).
Kyla knows several commands, is crate-trained and loves meeting everyone — kids and adults. She’s also friendly with cats and dogs and may thrive in a home with a “fur-sibling,” after a proper introduction. Kyla has skin allergies which are treated, but requires a special diet to keep her in peak condition. Research shows that living with a furry companion is a great way to lower your blood pressure, and accelerate the production of “feel good” hormones such as serotonin and dopamine. Just look at that face and try not to smile!
