Lady Brings Home Passing Puppy, Day Later She’s Sitting Up Ready To Thrive

When a tiny, abandoned Pit Bull puppy was found in a basket at a park, her future seemed uncertain. But thanks to the love and dedication of a veterinary technician named Jessica, this little pup named Stormi has made a remarkable recovery and found a forever home.

Jessica first encountered Stormi when she was brought into the veterinary hospital where she works. The puppy was in terrible shape, and Jessica felt an instant connection with her. “Right when I looked at her, her little eyes just said it all,” she recalled. Jessica volunteered to take over Stormi’s care and brought her home to nurse her back to health.

Stormi’s recovery was slow but steady. Jessica set up a space for her in the downstairs bathroom, where she usually keeps foster animals. To everyone’s surprise, Stormi began to show signs of improvement. “Three days in, I got a tail wag,” Jessica said. “It was the most incredible milestone at that point.”

As Stormi grew stronger, her personality began to shine through. She started hobbling around the house and playing with Jessica’s Rottweiler, Elle. The two dogs quickly became inseparable, with Elle helping to build Stormi’s confidence. “Elle has really brought confidence to Stormi,” Jessica explained. “They mouth play, they rip up toys together, and they absolutely love playing tug of war together. It’s their favorite thing.”

Once Stormi was healthy enough, Jessica officially adopted her and threw a party for her at the veterinary hospital. “Every single person in the hospital helped me with this. I couldn’t have done it by myself,” she said. Stormi seemed to know that the celebration was for her, happily enjoying treats and playing with balloons.

Today, Stormi is a happy, healthy dog who continues to grow and thrive in her new home. “She’s bigger and stronger and doing everything she wants to do,” Jessica said. “It makes me extremely happy. It’s just an incredible transformation. I love watching her grow every day and seeing new things she does.”
