Greenhill Humane Society

Meet Potato, Celery, and Turnip! Three of the seven baby bunnies up for adoption at Greenhill right now, they are two-month-old rabbits who can be adopted individually or with others in the litter. We anticipate These mini Lionhead/Rex rabbits to grow to about 5 lbs. They are ready to go home today with a waiver indicating their adopters will return them to the shelter at 4 months of age to be spayed/neutered and microchipped (included in the adoption fee). They will thrive in a home dedicated to providing them with the best care as they grow and learn. They are beyond cute with their fluffy hair and outgoing personalities! They’ve been giving our team little kisses and showing off their friendly demeanor. We could watch them run through tunnels and get baby zoomies all day!

It’s always important to have slow, supervised introductions to any other pets in the home. Each of the rabbits is working on litterbox training and looking for an inside-only home. Even if you don’t know much about rabbits but think one would be a good fit our team can provide plenty of resources to help you get started.

Greenhill Humane Society is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 88530 Green Hill Rd in Eugene. For more information call (541) 689.1503 or visit www.green-hill.org.

Oregon Coast Humane Society

Lux

Lux is six years old and FIV positive. He'll need to be an indoor-only cat. FIV is only transmitted through deep bites so Lux can live with other peaceful cats. FIV cats typically live a long, healthy life. Lux likes to be held and is just the right amount of FUN. He arrived with his best pal Prince and they'd love to live together if you're looking for a pair. Stop by and meet this very special boy and his pal Prince!

To meet Lux, stop by the shelter at 2840 Rhododendron Drive in Florence, or apply online at oregoncoasthumanesociety.org. Shelter hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Leo

LEO is a big, handsome black panther young adult kitty about 1 ½ yrs old. He is a friendly boy who seeks out pets and affection. Leo is very playful and energetic, and loves chasing toys. He might do best as an only cat, as he gets jealous when his treasured humans give other cats attention. With human friends that he learns he can trust, he’ll become a devoted and affectionate companion. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FIV & FeLV.

You can meet Leo at the Eugene-Springfield Cat Lounge (eugenespringfieldcatlounge.com). For more info, please call 541-225-4955 option 1, or visit our website at CatRescues.org
