NEW mum Laura Anderson has hit back at critics on social media over her parenting.
The Love Island star, 34, came under fire for letting her pet dog Buddy near her baby daughter Bonnie in a series of sweet Instagram pictures.
While most followers left gushing messages about the adorable tot’s big eyes and her likeness to her parents, others were distracted by the proximity of the pooch.
One fumed: “Get that bloody dog away from her it’s all over the news about dogs n your doing this ( just can’t understand some people one day it might be too late.”
The remark sparked a fierce debate with some fans leaping to Laura’s defence.
It led the original poster to hit back: “…she’s got one of those yappy dogs all it needs of to get jealous n I am educated n all dos are lovely until it’s too late we all think our dogs are lovely and they won’t hurt a fly but sorry I wouldn’t dream of having a week old baby n let my dog sit next to it while taking a photo n I’ve got one so I know the dangers.”
One fan then said: “People are so crazy my gosh some of these comments – don’t like it don’t follow.”
It caught Laura’s eye and she responded: “Poor buddy, he literally goes know where near her bless him.”
Laura and boyfriend Gary Lucy, 41, reunited shortly before Bonnie’s birth and are now living as a family of three.
Scots beauty Laura wowed fans yesterday when she slipped into a crop top 12 days after giving birth.
She told fans she had begun doing pelvic floor exercises to try and regain her abdominal muscles.
It comes after she opened up about her birth story for the first time, revealing she suffered a vaginal tear and a postpartum haemorrhage, losing 1.6litres of blood.
