It’s that time of the year again.
Recently, we attended two local events with temperatures in the upper 80s. Once again, we saw many dogs being forced to walk on hot pavement.
Later at a music venue, we witnessed two Irish setters laying down and heavily panting in the hot sun with no water for hours.
Also, when you go shopping, leave your pets home. Even with windows partially open, a car can reach life-threatening temperatures in a very short time.
If you are hot, think about how much warmer your pet is with a fur coat. Neglecting pets in this way is nothing short of animal abuse. Leave them at home.
