Are you looking for an energetic, happy, sweet, and healthy pup? Charlie fits the bill and would make the best companion. He’s the longest resident at Saving Paws Animal Rescue of Kentucky in Owensboro. He deserves his own loving family!
Are you passionate about homeless animals and those living in shelters or rescues? Me too! If you believe every animal deserves a loving home, there are many ways to help. Sharing your spare time makes a difference for these animals that need us the most. Shelters go through lots of supplies and always need food, litter, cleaning supplies, crates, etc. The most impactful ways to get involved are donating funds or becoming a foster. Be sure to follow your local animal shelter/rescue on social media. When you adopt a rescue pet, you give them a second chance. They never asked to be born.
Together, we can help homeless pets find the love and forever homes they deserve!
Stories like this are heartbreaking. So many animals enter shelters nationwide every year. I can’t wrap my head around it. It happens to dogs of all breeds, sizes, and shapes. They come in desperate need of shelter, care, and love. Luckily, the staff at SparKy steps in to help and save lives. These poor souls now have a fighting chance. They deserve it! And, Charlie deserves to find his furever family!
I write this and beg you all to take a look and consider Charlie for adoption. Charlie has found himself as our longest resident and although he is in foster and not stuck in a kennel, he deserves a family of his very own. Charlie was a victim of the pandemic. Adopted as a small puppy when everyone was home and returned when the family no longer had time for him. Charlie is an extraordinary dog. He is medium-sized, energetic, and fun. He loves kids and gets along well with other dogs. He has not been cat-tested. Charlie would do best in a home where he had regular exercise, hiking, running, etc. He can jump…straight up…like he’s on a pogo stick. Charlie is probably a beagle, Aussie mix. It’s time for Charlie to find his home. Doesn’t he deserve a family who loves him and is committed to him?, SparKy shared on social media

Kitten and puppy fosters are needed! If you’ve wanted to help, now is the time. Unless you’re in the shelter or rescue world, you just have no idea. We are drowning. And we are asked every. Single. Day. to take on more and more. Please reach out if you’re interested in fostering. It’s not a long-term commitment but it does save lives. Info@sparkyrescue.com
