CINCINNATI (WXIX) -A Loveland Pet Rescue is facing difficulties after an individual set up a fraudulent Venmo account linked to the death of one of their puppies, which succumbed to Parvo, a contagious virus primarily affecting dogs and wolves.
Paws for Miles stated that the Venmo account pawsfor miles (@pawsformiless) is a fake account.

The organization says it has not received any donations through Venmo since Feb. 2. It is unclear how many people donated to that account, but Paws for Miles advises anyone who did donate should contact Venmo to try to get a refund.
Paws for Miles says they are accepting donations via their GoFundMe account or Venmo QR code to help cover the significant medical expenses of the rescued puppies.
The organization rescued about 30 puppies in January who were at risk of euthanasia.
Treating the puppies costs $1,000 daily, and they have raised almost $20,000 thus far, Paws for Miles said.
“Tragically, we still have one puppy in critical condition, and we are uncertain of his outcome,” said in a Facebook post.
