Indore: A shocking incident has come to light in which a 35-year-old man allegedly killed a 65-year-old woman over her pet dog’s barking. The horrific incident took place in Musakhedi area in Indore City of Madhya Pradesh. According to police, the victim’s pet dog continuously barked at the accused man following which he reportedly killed the pet’s owner.
Accused kicks woman in her abdomen
The incident took place at around 10.30 pm on Saturday night when the man was going towards his home after closing his shop, reported NDTV. The accused man is a resident of Shanti Nagar in Madhya Pradesh. On his way, near a community hall, the pet dog started barking at him.
“Due to the dog’s continuous barks, the man was not able to pass by the road and started yelling,” said Azad Nagar police station in-charge Neeraj Medha.
The owner of the pet dog stepped out of her house. The woman and the accused had a heated argument over the dog’s parking, reported NDTV quoting the police officer. Following the argument, the man reportedly kicked the woman’s abdomen due to which she fell down on the road.
Police arrest accused
Some people rushed the woman to a local hospital. Unfortunately, the woman died. The matter was reported to the police. “A case of murder has been registered against the accused,” said police. The official added that the accused has been arrested.
