Malaysian Woman Posts “Marriage Resume” To Find A Partner For Her Pet Cat

Finding a suitable partner is not always as easy. It takes time, especially for those seeking a long-term relationship. The same applies to animals, where competition can be intense. For pet owners, it can sometimes be challenging to find a mate for their pets or simply to expand their furry family.

In a funny twist, a Twitter user known as @/Miyabellsoz posted a “marriage resume” for her cat, listing the characteristics of her pet and the kind of partner they were looking for. Her cat, Pucca, is a male Turkish Angora with white fur and captivating blue eyes, making him an ideal companion for any cat, especially with his good looks.

In her post, the owner wrote, “Greetings! Pucca has decided to end his single days and is now searching for a lifetime partner.” She listed several attributes about her cat, including being barren, offshore, having a “RM10K income” (whatever that means), and “will probably be loyal” (we’re doubtful). She described Pucca as a “tall, cute, handsome male.” Desired qualities in a partner included being barren, male or female, “beautifully handsome,” and having a normal Body Mass Index (BMI). While some of these characteristics may seem odd or irrelevant for a cat, the post was intended to be humorous.

The tweet garnered many responses from other pet owners showcasing their cats as potential matches for Pucca. One user shared a picture of their cat with the caption, “Hi Pucca. Meet Potter. Male, 4 years old, handsome, and our colours look similar.” Despite the overwhelming interest, some commenters playfully pointed out that the phrase “probably loyal” was a red flag. Others humorously questioned whether Pucca’s own BMI was normal, given the criteria for a potential partner.

The post turned out to be entertaining. This playful matchmaking attempt not only showcased the creativity and sense of humour of pet owners but also serves as a reminder of the lengths people will go to for their beloved pets. Will Pucca find his perfect match?
