Hyderabad: A 35-year-old man was found dead at his home in Madhura Nagar in the city on Sunday evening. The deceased was identified as Pavan Kumar. According to police officials, they found injuries on his private parts and also his pet, a Siberian Husky, was seen in the same room with blood dripping from its mouth.
Clues teams inspected the spot and collected blood samples from the deceased and the dog's mouth. Police registered a case and stated that the exact cause of death would be determined following the postmortem examination and forensic analysis.
According to police, Pavan, a native of Andhra Pradesh, was working for a jeweller and had been staying in a rented room with one Sandeep. On Sunday morning, Sandeep left for work, leaving Pavan and the dog in the room. When he returned in the afternoon and knocked on the door, there was no response.Assuming Pavan was asleep, he left the place.
Later in the evening, Sandeep returned and again knocked on the door. When there was no response, he broke open the doors with the help of neighbours. As the door gave way, the dog ran out with blood dripping from its mouth. Upon entering the room, Sandeep found Pavan lying in a pool of blood.
Police, prima facie, found that Pavan was also suffering from health issues for the past few years.
