GWINN — The Marquette Kennel Club will be hosting its 49th annual All-Breed Dog Show and Obedience Trial this weekend at the Marquette County Fairgrounds, located at 715 M-553 in Gwinn.
Dates and times for the event are as follows:
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday
8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday
There are currently 330 furry friends signed up for the dog show, with 20 entries in the obedience trials.
The vendors include a pet massage/chair massage, Sweets & Treats providing candies, snacks for dogs, local jewelry, pet-safe cleaning products and pet therapy information.
A fun match will take place at 3:30 p.m. where American Kennel Club-registered dogs four months and older can compete for ribbons. The public is invited to register their dogs to allow them to learn the show ring and their own standards. The cost to register is $10 per entry.
