“Pet of the Week” usually lists a pet, and before long, that pet is matched with the right person or family. Unfortunately, that has not been the case with “Marshall Mathers” — aka (chcka chcka) Slim Shady!
The Lowell Humane Society requested that we fly his flag to our readers again, because this special fellow desperately needs a person or family. He is five years old, and formerly a stray dog.
Volunteers reported that “when the Animal Control Officer rolled up, he jumped in the truck for an opportunity to see better days.” Marshall is adjusting to shelter life, but he really needs a home with nice folks who have a big couch where everyone can hang out together. Marshall definitely gets excited when he sees little critters – squirrels, cats, and even small dogs. Do you know someone who needs a big, happy lug of a pitty-mix? Is that you?
Reach out to the Lowell Humane Society at 951 Broadway St., Lowell, open Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Call at 978-452-7781 or email at info@lowellhumanesociety.org. If you can’t adopt, please share this story.
