On Saturday morning, 15 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) units responded to a house fire which was producing heavy smoke and flames coming from the sides and roof of the home.
Firefighters conducted a fire attack to work on extinguishing the fire, located near SW 32 Terrace and SW 68 Avenue while checking for extensions.
During the firefight, fire crews pulled out a dog that was trapped inside the home when the fire broke out. They immediately began to treat the family pet by initiating CPR and administering oxygen to help revive the unresponsive canine, who was then reunited with its family.
All residents of the home had evacuated, and there were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
