These pets are ready to settle in at their forever home — your place.
Captain, No. A512496, handsome and smart
Captain is a regal German shepherd who is as nice as he is handsome! Captain is about 4 years old, and ready to be someone’s best buddy!
Captain has been out on a number of field trips and he’s become a favorite of the Pasadena Humane volunteers. He is very friendly around all the people he’s met, even a curious toddler — he’s been an ideal ambassador!
He walks right by your side and is completely relaxed while you take a leisurely walk in the neighborhood. When you stop for a break, he sits right by your side and takes it all in.
Captain appears to have done some training and responds very well to training cues. He’s one smart cookie!
Captain is ready to go home with you — he’s available for a 10-day adoption trial as well to make sure he’s a good fit for your home!

Johnny, No. A406011, knows how to be happy
Johnny is a 10-year-old cat and, according to him, just hitting his prime. He loves playing, scoring his scratching post and sitting in a window to keep an eye on the neighborhood (and the birds).
He is very snugly. Johnny thoroughly enjoys attention and will ask for it if he needs to. He’s also not shy about asking for his food bowl to be refilled.
He’s affectionately been described as a purring machine — he seems to just be in a constant state of happiness. Shouldn’t we all be so lucky!
Johnny can’t wait to be adopted and fill your life with happiness, too!
Johnny’s age makes him eligible for the Seniors for Seniors Program. For any adopter age 60 and older, Johnny can be adopted at no charge.
The adoption fee for cats is normally $100. All cat adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip and age-appropriate vaccines.

Honey, playful and as sweet as her name
Affection is this little cat’s middle name. Honey, a 1-year-old, will come right up to you and ask for pets and cuddles. She’s playful, too, and will especially love jumping for a feather wand or chasing a laser light.
She was found in a feral colony in Pasadena. The Trap-Neuter-Return person who was feeding the colony saw that Honey was too friendly to stay there and scooped her right up.
How could such a sweet little cat have been in that predicament but stay so friendly? She must have had some human love, but then had been abandoned or wandered off and got lost.
Maybe she was just so grateful to have been rescued. Never again will she have to be in such danger. She will make someone’s loving home so very happy.
