The three are female tricolored Cattlebreed mixes and were rescued from a hoarding situation in Ector County.
Meet Cowgirl, Badger and Julip, NewsWest 9's Midland Pets of the Week courtesy of the Midland Humane Coalition.
Cowgirl, Badger and Julip are female tricolored Cattlebreed mixes that are approximately two to three years old.
The three were rescued from a hoarding situation in Ector County and immediately were sent to a Lubbock rescue.
Unfortunately, the other rescue was not equipped for them and MHC was able to get them back. Since they are not properly socialized, they are fearful of people but do seek the attention of other animals.
They may do well in a quiet home that will let them go at their own pace.
The three don't do well on a leash but can go in and out of their kennels easily into MHC's outdoor yards.
They would not be suited to an apartment because they might try to get away when being taken out. And again, they don't tolerate the leash.
The three girls would do best in a calmer home with a nice large fenced yard.
MHC can't say how they do with cats.
There is also a Furr Ball event coming up on Oct. 14 at the Midland Country Club from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
